Eric Logan is the newest kind of Local 25 leader — the kind who was carrying a steward's grievance folder about ten minutes ago. A rank-and-file Teamster who came up through the membership, Eric earned the job the members give only to people they trust: Chief Steward, the person who lives the contract every single shift.
In February 2025, President Mari appointed him Field Representative — and in true Local 25 fashion, he hit the ground running. Airgas was on strike his first weeks on the job. The members stood strong, the bargaining team delivered a strong contract, and Eric got the best possible orientation: a picket line that won.
He's already carrying the local's voice beyond the hall, speaking on behalf of Teamsters Local 25 at the North Shore Labor Council — building the alliances across the labor movement that turn one local's fight into everyone's fight.
And at the scholarship presentations, handing awards to members' kids heading to college, you see what the job means to him: the contract is the floor, but the point is the families it carries. Eric hasn't stopped being a steward. He's just got a bigger book now.
