A second-generation Teamster who started as a helper in 2004 and earned his way up — shop steward, Sergeant-at-Arms, Chief Steward, and now Field Representative for some of the hardest-working Teamsters in the Northeast.
Eric Logan is a second-generation Teamster, raised in the moving and storage division his family gave their working lives to. He started his own journey in 2004 the way the best Teamster leaders do — at the bottom, as a helper — and earned his way onto the truck as a driver.
Hard work and diligence carried him up. In 2015 the members elected him shop steward, and shortly after he took on the role of Sergeant-at-Arms for the local. From there he rose to Chief Steward for the moving and storage division — the job the members hand only to the one they trust to know the contract cold and fight for it every day.
In February 2025, Eric came on as a Field Representative — an opportunity he counts as an honor. Today he represents some of the hardest-working Teamsters in the Northeast, across trash, moving and storage, building and construction supplies, and tank haulers.
He never stopped being that steward from the moving and storage floor. The titles got bigger; the job stayed the same — know the contract, back the member, and never let a violation slide. Eric brings that discipline to every division he now carries.
